Thomas Curtis belt buckles are collected world wide... he's been a
professional silversmith for over 50 years.
Thomas Curtis is a master at Repousse. Repousse is a traditional Navajo jewelry
technique where the inside of flat silver is hammered out so that the finished
design then becomes rounded or 3 dimensional. The jewelry is then stamped,
carved and filed to produce the finished piece. This is a difficult and time
consuming process. Any mistakes renders the jewelry worthless.
Thomas Curtis is a
master silversmith who makes all his jewelry from one
piece of silver... perfectly, precisely and beautifully.
