The term Gel is applied to any gemstone that has a translucent quality...
the stone appears to be liquid... the color glows from deep within the gem.

Gel gemstones are most rare... such stones always carry a hefty premium.

Multiple Layers of Silver were hand cut and overlaid one upon another...
Silver dust was sprinkled on select portions of the design and then fused
with a torch... Granulation
