The featured gemstone is rare, old fossil Lone Mountain Turquoise.

Raymond has a strand or two of fossil Lone Mountain and this is
probably is from that stash.

Fossil Lone Mountain is extraordinary... Charles Loloma had a strand, so did
Lee Yazzie and Raymond too. Lone Mountain is naturally shaped like a donut. It
formed inside a reed in the Nevada desert. The Charles Loloma strand is in
Dubin's, North American Jewelry and Adornment,

Finest quality Fire Opal, Coral and Lapis too. Raymond used 14k gold to
 build the channel. Each gemstone is individually shaped and contoured.
