Silver Liberty /Mercury Dime and Turquoise Necklace

Excellent Like New Condition

The Mercury Dime is also known as the Winged Liberty Head Dime.
It was designed by Adolph A.Weinman and his initials are shown in the area
to the right of the figure’s neck. The coin is made of .900 Silver and .100 copper.

A Mercury Dimes weigh 2.50 grams and are 17.9 mm in diameter. They were
minted from 1916 through 1946. Mercury dimes are among the most
 beautiful United States coins and are highly collected.

Dimes are no longer silver.

A hand made Morenci Turquoise Bead is between each silver Dime Bead

71 Mercury Dimes were needed to make this necklace. Each Mercury Dime
bead is made from the the obverse of two dimes... 1 obverse / side of bead.
