Lightning Strikes twice!!
A striking Black Opal inspired this creation.
In the overlay design the Creator is seen firing Lightning to the earth.
Animals are created as is Kokopelli (a human fertility symbol).
Surrounding the perimeter of design is natural
Blue Gem Turquoise inlay.
The pendant is stung on 16 1/2" of Lonnie Parker
handmade beads
The Black Opal gemstone measures 1" x 3/4".
The pendant is 2 1/4" x 1 1/2".

Lonn Parker - Creation
Creation is the repeating theme throughout this one of a kind
Lonn Parker Necklace.
Little wonder, he and everyone who has seen this beautiful, rare Black
Opal is struck with the cascade of colors that seems to appear -
as if Lightning was striking it.
It was the Opal, the flashes of color, that inspired Lonn to create
the overlay and inlay designs. Lonn used natural Old Fox Turquoise
to make the graduated 22" long wafer necklace.
This is large necklace. The Black Opal gemstone alone is
2" x 1". The pendant is 3" x 2".

Spur Bolo
Tie
with custom made tips
Both
heavy Silver Overlay and Tufa Cast techniques were
used to make this 1 of a kind collectible.
The
overlay designs are rain clouds,
symbols of prosperity. The tufa cast designs are ancient
figures of horses and buffaloes.
The
center spur is made from brass and is the
shape of a woman's legs.
The
center of the Bolo Tie carries a large, beautiful,
polished Emerald Valley Turquoise nugget
measuring 1 3/4' x 1"
The Bolo
itself measures
2 1/2" wide x 4" long
