Lee Yazzie Jewelry

Raymond Yazzie and Lee Yazzie, Summer of 1984

Raymond Yazzie and Lee Yazzie, Summer of 2004

The jewelry of the Yazzie brothers (Raymond and Lee) is collected
worldwide. Raymond credits Lee with teaching him. Lee Yazzie
first gained recognition with the work he did with Preston
Monongye. Preston did the silver work, Lee
the lapidary.

Lee Yazzie and Raymond Yazzie are among the most collected
Native American silversmiths. It is not unusual for their
complex jewelry to sell for $50,000 to $100,000.

In addition to their silversmith skills, both Raymond and
Lee are accomplished stone cutters. They use only the
finest quality (often quite rare gemstones)
 in their jewelry.
