Jake Livingston draws inspiration from his Zuni Pueblo Heritage. His designs however
 go beyond the usual Zuni jewelry in that the animals are carved in three dimensions
 rather then the stones being inlaid in the silver and then simply polished flat.

Jake Livingston first came to wide spread public attention in 1988 after
 appearing in Beyond Tradition, a landmark volume by Jerry and Lois Jacka
 that featured the work of many of the top artists
 of the 1970's and 1980's.
