Boyd Tsosie belt buckles are entirely made by Boyd himself. No one else participates in their
 design or construction. No manufactured parts are bought from a jewelry supply store.
These are extraordinary belt buckles ... quite rare, collectible and investment quality.

Fossil Ivory, Lapis, Coral, Gold, Sugalite and Turquoise

The buckle itself was Tufa Cast. It is the only one as the mold was destroyed when the buckle
was removed. This normally occurs in the tufa casting process.

Boyd does the lapidary as well as the silver work.

Notice too the cobalt blue and magenta Patina that was applied by Boyd

The buckle itself was Tufa Cast. It is the only one as the mold was destroyed when the
buckle was removed. This normally occurs in the tufa casting process.

The color you see on the belt buckle is obtained by Boyd's skillful application of chemicals
 to the silver. A lacquer is later applied to preserve the colorful patina.

This old (1970's) Indian Mountain Turquoise gemstone is quite unique as Boyd removed
 the host stone (matrix) from the turquoise and in its place sprinkled 14k gold dust.
 Boyd then melted the gold dust into the turquoise

The adornments in the Fossil Ivory surrounding the turquoise are 14k Gold
