castings are reminiscent of
Charles Loloma and Preston Monongye.

original and balanced designs are two reasons.
I should add that Anthony's choice of natural turquoise and other gemstones
compliment his designs
quite well.
People are sometimes curious about the cloudlike silver that is attached to some
of Anthony's larger pieces. These are casting remnants that Anthony allowed to remain
there.
He does this for both aesthetics and as proof that
the jewelry was tufa cast and not
spin cast which is a completely different process that is used to
mass produce jewelry.
Literally thousands of
identical pieces can be investment
or spin
cast from one mold.
However, the tufa cast process permits only ONE
piece to be made before the
carved tufa mold becomes unusable.
