The answer to this enigma lies in the fact that Jerry Whagado is part Hopi and learned his silversmith skills years ago (in the late 1960's early 1970's) at the Hopi Guild under the tutelage of legendary, Fred Kabotie. Notice the fine incising on the lower layer of Silver and Jerry's Overlay Apache Crown (Spirit) Dancers is simply beautiful art.
